Real-time strategy MMO in the Battle Dawn lineage. Designed the alliance economy and the tournament season system that became the game’s core retention engine.

Owned all balancing and live-ops decisions across mobile and web; the season cadence still anchors the game today.

Two design problems I’m proud of

  1. The alliance economy — alliances had a shared treasury that taxed individual production at a configurable rate. Players self-organized into “investor” and “soldier” archetypes; we never had to design either.
  2. Season cadence — 8-week seasons with a hard reset of competitive standings, but persistent meta-progression. Beat both the “forever-MMO” fatigue problem and the “why bother starting” problem at once.
